Zamioculcas - Care tips
STORY
The zamioculcas is a magnificent houseplant from tropical Africa, easy to maintain and very decorative.
Indoors, its height varies from 30 cm to almost a meter. Its sturdy palm-like leaves are a beautiful glossy green. The Zamioculcas is the perfect plant for the heads in the air because it requires very little care and is slow growing.
Maintenance
Caring for a Zamioculcas is very easy. Very few criteria must be met in order to make your plant the happiest on earth:
- avoid excess water and let the substrate dry out between two waterings . There is no need for water to remain in the saucer.
- dust the foliage from time to time with a damp sponge.
The Zamioculcas needs humidity, so avoid placing it too close to a heat source.
WHERE DO WE PUT IT?
Place your Zamioculcas near a window that allows light to pass through but avoid direct sunlight.
Some even prefer little light.
During the summer, from May to October, do not hesitate to place your plant outside (in partial shade)
