Monstera Deliciosa - Care Tips
STORY
The Monstera Deliciosa a robust plant that will feel perfectly at home in your home.
Although in nature the Monstera can reach up to 20m in length, in an apartment it can reach up to 2 and 3m depending on how you take care of it.
Young leaves are small and have no holes. As they grow, the leaves gradually split and can reach 1m.
Maintenance
If the pot is too small and/or you want your plant to grow, feel free to repot it when you receive it.
Be careful, the roots of Monstera are afraid of stagnating in water. Avoid excess water at the bottom of your pot.
Throughout the year, it is important to spray water on its leaves in order to recreate the conditions of its natural environment which is rather humid.
In summer: Water it regularly and moderately to keep the soil moist. Liquid fertilizer can be added every 3-4 weeks.
In winter, space out the waterings and wait until the soil is dry before watering it again. It is no longer necessary to bring him liquid fertilizer.
WHERE DO WE PUT IT?
The Monstera resists very well indoors and likes temperatures between 20°.
Spaces with direct sun should be avoided as this dries out the leaves. Choose a place with subdued lighting.
Over time, as you grow, your Monstera Deliciosa will become the centerpiece of your interior and for which your guests will envy you.
